"I have been a nurse all my life, since the age of 17, working in elderly care, acute medicine, palliative care and oncology predominantly. My career has taken me from my home in Jersey to London and the Midlands, and I have been privileged to work with some of the most eminent specialists in this field. Moreover, I have had the pleasure of helping and support people at some of the most challenging and difficult times in their health journey.
Although moving into management and troubleshooting, I have never forgotten where my heart lies and pride myself on being a nurse first and foremost. I moved to Rider House in late December 2018 and love being part of the wider family that exists here. Each and every resident, their families and the wonderful staff are my prime concern and the joy of looking after everyone challenges me, but drives the motivation to improve continually.
Our elderly residents are the very people that have made this country what it is and to this end deserve the best care that we can give and provide their families with peace of mind that their loved ones are safe and well cared for. We all at Rider aspire to achieve this goal seeking to improve continually. I am proud to say I am small part in making Rider the wonderful home that it is."
